Following the meeting with H.E. Mrs. Loanna Malliotis, Ambassador of Cyprus to China, the Chief Operating Officer of China Business Network (CBN) visited Cyprus where he met
with Minister of Commerce, Energy and Tourism Mr Yiogos Lakkotrypos, also President of DIKO, Chairman of CTO, Mayor of Paphos as well as major developers such as Aristos, Leptos and Pafilia etc..  All major developers are still very optimistic with Chinese investors
 

 

CBN have started preparation for supporting the official visit to China by both the Minister of Trade and also Mayor of Paphos as well as some very exciting events aimed at facilitating developers from Cyprus to find investors or development partners in China.  As a result CBN shall organise some larger investors visiting Cyprus to see some major projects in Limasol, Paphos and Larnaca as well as Nicosia.
 

While individual investors from China have been tempted by the offer of permanent residence to invest in properties in Cyprus, Chinese Institutional investors are particularly keen on hotel, golf and other commercial projects.
